7 Cocktails That Will Not Disrupt Your Sleep

The story is as familiar as an old wife’s tale. You hang out with some friends, go to a bar and then head home after a fabulous time. 1. Non-alcoholic Mojito

Non-alcoholic mojito, or virgin mojito, is a refreshing blend of mint leaves, apple juice, lime juice, elderflower cordial and soda water. It is a refreshing drink. All you need are to mix up the ingredients and add crushed ice on top of the mocktail in a glass.

2. Shirley Temple

This is the most simple and well-known of all mocktail classic. It is also really easy to make. All you need to do is add ice to your glass and then the lemon-lime soda. Top it off with grenadine and serve with a maraschino cherry.

3. Sparkling Cranberry Kombucha

Kombucha has been touted for its various health benefits. It is a potential source of probiotics, contains antioxidants, kills bacteria, reduces heart disease risk, may help with managing type 2 diabetes to protecting against cancer. This sparkling cranberry kombucha mocktail is not only healthy but also delicious. All you need is cranberry juice, kombucha, 1 inch slice of fresh ginger, mix it all up and serve with a sprig of rosemary on top.

4. Virgin Cucumber Gimlet

Refreshing and cooling especially when the weather is hot. Just combine club soda, 4-5 slices of muddled cucumber, fresh lime juice and simple syrup in a rocks glass over crushed ice.

5. Shirley Ginger

This is a simple twist to the classic Shirley Temple. Replace the lemon-lime soda with lemon lime ginger beer. Mix it with club soda, lime juice and grenadine and serve in a tall glass with ice.

6. Virgin Watermelon Margarita

Another cooling mocktail for a warm night you can consider is the Virgin Watermelon Margarita. In a blender, puree a medium sized seedless watermelon. Add lime juice and agave and mix the drink. Top it up with some sparkling water and serve in a tall glass.

7. Cotton Candy Mocktail

This cute and fun mocktail is suitable for both adults and kids! Get pink lemonade from your grocery store and also some pink cotton candy. Chill the glass, pour the pink lemonade soda into it and add a tuft of cotton candy on top of the glass before serving. You don’t need to stick with pink. You can also use other coloured drinks and cotton candy for this versatile mocktail.
